We use 100% high quality cotton fabrics, a natural bamboo quilt batting, and bright Isacord polyester thread. This quilt has not been pre-washed, but can be machined washed on a delicate setting. Quilts may have slight shrinkage if tumbled dry on low. Line dry or on a flat surface if possible.
Why bamboo batting? Bamboo batting is economically friendly and an all natural sustainable crop which doesn’t rely on pesticides or fertilizers. Bamboo batting is lightweight and has superior breathability, which will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It also drapes well, retaining its shape and softness.
All of our quilts are designed and handmade in a pet and smoke free environment here in beautiful North Carolina. Each of our quilts are free-motion quilted using a Bernina Q24. We do not use patterns or computers, giving each quilt a handmade feel.
All orders are packed in plastic and in a cardboard box to protect from any weather conditions.
